What exactly do we teach in our Executive Functioning session?

The Skills of Learning:

Parent Coaching

Parent Coaching is designed to shift the home dynamic from "nagging and friction" to "support and scaffolding."

We teach:

  • Executive Functioning instruction

  • Conflict resolution

  • Autonomy supportive parenting

  • Behavioral management strategies

  • Active listening skills

Student Advocate

Student Advocacy ensures that the school environment is set up to support the student’s specific neurodivergent needs. We aim to bridge the gap between the student’s needs and the school’s resources through 504 and IEP meetings. This propels the student to thrive and demonstrate their full potential.

Our advocacy includes…

  • Proactively addressing student struggles 

  • Voicing students' needs effectively

  • Collaboration with school teams

  • Attendance at 504 and IEP meetings

  • The utilization of accommodation knowledge to properly advocate

  • Educational evaluations and assessments

College Application Coaching

  • Our application package includes 12 50-minute sessions dedicated to:

    • Main college app essay

    • Complete common app application

    • School research + selection

    • Organization system for completion of tasks

    Any extra sessions needed will be charged at the standard hourly rate

  • We provide these extra services:

    • Scholarship research

    • Scholarship application support

    • Resume

    • Supplemental-specific essays
      ACT/SAT test prep

    Outside of the standard package

  • Our package costs a total of $1500 for the 12 sessions. It is expected that your student follows through with work outside of each session. If more help is needed after the package is used, additional sessions will be charged at the standard hourly rate. Along with this, additional services are charged at the hourly rate.

  • The college application package is ONLY available during the months of May through September. This service is not provided during the majority of the school year, and should be completed before your child’s senior year of highschool.
